There is a good chance in that part of the world that it did not have windows. Having been to the Philippines, many older buildings don’t because they really that free flowing air.

Since its Indonesia, did the building actually has glass windows?According to the accompanying video at the article, the window directly behind her did not. But the windows closer to the camera coming from her location all did have glass in them. Can't really say for the one next to her farther away from the camera.
