any suggestions on email service to replace yahoo email

I never replaced it. I got GMail and I use my email client (Thunderbird) to interface with their POP server and download it every time I check it.

I also closed a Hotmail account I had for several years but didn't need anymore either.

Eventually I will get something else and close my GMail account as well, but that day hasn't happened yet.
