I think many Freepers would be surprised at how many senior DOJ posts were never established by Congress.

The office of the Deputy U.S. Attorney General, for example, was established through a DOJ internal administrative action back in 1950.

With each passing day I am more convinced that the entire DOJ needs to be disbanded. It serves no legitimate function in the U.S. at all.

Eliminate the DOJ completely or cut 99% of their budget, either way a bunch of democrat lawyer hacks will be looking for new employment.(Most likely at the state level.)
