CHICAGO — An employee of a popular Boystown nightclub was stabbed during a robbery on the Halsted Street bar strip overnight, just hours before the neighborhood’s annual Pride Fest street party is scheduled to begin.
The 23-year-old woman left work near Roscoe and Halsted around midnight and was about two blocks away when the robber confronted her near Halsted and Aldine, according to preliminary information.

Their version of “change” is to move into red areas and keep voting for the same people.
That’s near Wrigley, not downtown.
They’d need another Rudy to clean the place up. Pro-choice and likable. Only then will the women be smart enough to think of their safety. Me, I’d just move.
Seems to be the case. Then they still expect to go to the ballgame or theater or shop downtown. But that’s why the Merchandise Mart is a ghost town...
Nowhere in Chicago is safe anymore. And that’s a damned shame.
