Some "Authorities" have too much time on their hands.

Perhaps they should be defunded.

The only impact of any monolith presence that is tolerated is of the Democratzi Party.

Local politicians did not get their bakshhsh from the installers. The usual slipping of tax free money did not happen.

The local power structure demand their cut.

The monolith showed up in a nature reserve for big horn sheep. The “environmental impact” was from people going to look at it. It’s been torn down now, so the study probably wasn’t necessary.

..on its way to Area 51 for further study, I’ll bet.

Some of my friends made this CD back in 1995

the whole cd is pretty awesome especially if you have a thumping car system or home theater with large subwoofers to demo it on.

Probably a trash problem from the folks trekking out to see it, or someone might step on a protected grasshopper or something.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) stated that the monolith was removed due to public safety and environmental concerns.

Or some cop wanted a cool souvenir for the back yard BBQs.

Sure, go ahead and laugh.

Had a lot of active duty cops in my Tx Guard Battalion.

By far the biggest bunch of goofs and troublemakers there.

Here is the last anyone will ever hear about it...

They go on to say that it has been stored in an undisclosed location until public authorities can determine the most appropriate way to dispose of or store the item.

I have determined that any action against the monolith will change that local environment and must before removal entail a multi million dollar survey of such before action. My buddy of little education but wise said, “I do not give a S—t. He is wise.

When they start finding these monoliths deliberately buried on the Moon, then I will be concerned.

If that one ‘monolith’ has such a negative impact on the environment, just imagine what a million mirrors (aka solar panels) would do!
