There you go,
Latch onto a word because it sounds good to you.
On the topic of controlling folks whether they like it or not, will we leave Iraq soon? They recently asked us to leave again, that would be the 20th official request (no kidding) over the last 21 years we have been occupying them after we invaded under false pretenses.
What about Syria? Or do you think the people want us there? Hahaha
You always are great at making the FR a bit entertaining / humorous.
Have we ever claimed a right to annex Iraqi territory? Syrian? We are in those places because terrorists use their territory to attack us and our allies, (i.e. Israel). Ukraine never attacked Russia. Far from it. But Putin twists history into a pretzel to justify annexation of Ukraine.
In October 2019, President Trump ordered the withdrawal of troops in Northern Syria. Pentagon officials told the President he should leave 200 there. What he didn't know was that they lied to him. They left 900 there instead, and never told him.
New York Post - 2020:
Retiring diplomat says defense officials misled Trump on troop count in Syria
The diplomat, "James Jeffrey, US special representative for Syria engagement was a Never Trumper, but was impressed with Trump's successes in the Middle East, and is now pushing the incoming Biden administration to adopt it.“
"The truth is President Trump and his policies are quite popular among all of our popular states in the region. Name me one that’s not happy.”
Which for the Biden administration, meant they had to go.
