...yes, that was an historical moment in our nation’s history, but so important that another meaningless federal holiday had to be created for it....? I doubt that even one out of every 10 Americans picked at random could even explain the meaning of Juneteenth.....and probably nobody but federal workers [sic] even got the day off....
I was wondering how ALL slaves were freed? Did this magically happen through using proper pronouns and $15 per hour? Who were the abolitionists? Who were the slave traders? Where did 97% of the slaves go (which countries)? Why did Democrats support slavery? What about the KKK?

When things crash & we seriously dismantle the Federal Gov’t (yea, I’m dreaming) we’ll get rid of most holidays. Maybe leave it at Thanksgiving July 4th (true American holidays) & that’s it. No more special days or honoring politicians. Ever again.
