Russia, North Korea commit to defending each other 'without delay' if invaded, provoking South Korean outrage

Putin and Kim bonded during the trip, petting dogs and taking turns driving a Russian-manufactured limousine.

Russia has entered into a defensive pact with North Korea that obligates both nations to defend each other from military adversaries "without delay."

Russian President Vladimir Putin and North Korean supreme leader Kim Jong Un signed the landmark agreement on Wednesday in a move that has alarmed Western powers.

"If one of the two sides is placed under war situations due to an armed invasion from an individual country or several nations, the other side provides military and other assistance without delay by mobilizing all means in its possession," the agreement states.

The agreement further cements the growing anti-West power bloc revolving around Russia as regional powers with friendships dating back to the Soviet era — such as Vietnam and China — reaffirm old bonds.

North Korea, officially known as the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, was founded in 1948 with direct influence from Soviet dictator Josef Stalin.

The Kim family — sometimes referred to as the Mount Paektu bloodline — is the hereditary dictatorship of the country founded by communist revolutionary Kim Il Sung.

North Korea operates under the state ideology of Juche, a quasi-communist worldview founded on a cult of personality and enthusiastic nationalism.

I'd read about the FAB-3000s, but hadn't seen any footage.

I don't want any of my grandchildren on the receiving end of that.

Biden’s Zeepers’ will shat themselves in solidarity (pun) with Biden when Russia actaully begins to launch an offensive. Currently only about 60,000 Russian soldiers are fighting out of the 350,000 combat troops and 350,000 support troops engaged in Ukraine. When that full 700,000 backed by 5M NK artillery rounds and Russian stockpiles are unleashed - the map is going to finally give them something they can understand rather than casuality figures. Russia is going to drop a million rounds in their opening salvo’s. Those poor bastards will get the death Lindsay’s referred too as the last Ukrainian.

I am looking forward to seeing the Depends Moment on FR with the Zeepers. They are going to get crash course on military tactics the likes of which no amount of propoganda can hide.

We now have two sectors on the Front where there are 450 armored vehicles poised, with 10,000 troops poised to strike Ukraine; one area where there is over 1,000 armored vehicles and 400 tanks with 120,000 troops poised. The pentagon scrambles to assemble 300 or 400 Bradley’s.

When you hear news that the Russians cut the H20 and Nova Bakka/Alexandriapil the Uke’s will lose an entire Army. This will signal the end of the Ukrainian AFU as a viable fighting force. There are 7 fronts. This one front in the South — Not in the North will signal the beginning of the end.

I doubt that the Ukrainians have developed the in-depth pakfronts of 1943 Kursk to handle this situation, having relied on the fortified strongholds built between 2014 and now for too long.

Putin Signs Defense Partnership in Historic Pyongyang Trip

There is the obvious fact that this represents an immediate signaling by Putin that he wasn’t bluffing when he said there would be retaliation for crossing of the red lines. The most serious, and under-looked, aspect of this is the implied tit-for-tat potential for facilitating North Korea’s ability to strike the U.S. in nuclear fashion. The reason is: much of the threats vis-a-vis Ukraine are of this category: for instance, the F-16s which the West brazenly pledges to Ukraine represent a nuclear threat, given their ability to drop B-61 tactical nuclear bombs on Russian territory.

The West escalates tensions by shielding themselves beneath a nuclear-capable proxy, which would allow the waging of nuclear war against Russia with a sort of built-in plausible deniability or legal defense. So now, Russia has requited in kind by implying they can give North Korea even more lethal missile technologies which can potentially be used in conjunction with nuclear warheads to put the U.S. under the nuclear sword.

If NATO is going to expand to the Russian border and put nuclear weapons and/or hold military exercises in Sweden and Finland, what expect the Russians to do?

We promised the Russians in the early '90s no eastward expansion of NATO.

We and NATO keep screwing the Russians over and accuse them of being monsters when they retaliate.

NATO doesn’t expand anywhere, if a country asks to become a member and they are accepted then that country becomes a member, and training in NATO countries is a necessity for NATO members.

And you are a bald faced liar to keep pretending that the NATO nations made a treaty with the Soviet Union to not allow other European nations to join NATO.

NATO doesn’t expand anywhere

That's one of the dishonest answers I've ever seen. It's like Bill Clinton trying to the word is.

You know very well that we did promise Russia not to expand NATO eastward in the early 90s. WE LIED. And, expanded to the Russians borders.

We fomented an illegal coup in Ukraine, set off a civil war, installed a puppet government hostile to Moscow and the ethnic Russian population in Ukraine and funded and trained 600,000 man army and were running biolabs with deadly pathogens in them there.

There is ZERO chance we'd put up with something similar in Mexico.

But, you hate the Russians and don't give a damn how much we've tried to bully them even if we're closer to a hot war with Russia, WW III and nuclear war than we ever were during the Cold War.

This is the kind of mentality that starts world wars. It's insanity.

If the nations of NATO and the Soviet Union made a treaty that the dissolving evil empire dictated the future of NATO and the European nations, Warsaw Pact Nations, and the nations soon to be free of the dissolving USSR, then show me that treaty you keep lying about.

Washington D.C., December 12, 2017 – U.S. Secretary of State James Baker’s famous “not one inch eastward” assurance about NATO expansion in his meeting with Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev on February 9, 1990, was part of a cascade of assurances about Soviet security given by Western leaders to Gorbachev and other Soviet officials throughout the process of German unification in 1990 and on into 1991, according to declassified U.S., Soviet, German, British and French documents posted today by the National Security Archive at George Washington University (http://nsarchive.gwu.edu).

That's the point -- the treaty was made BECAUSE the Soviet Union was coming to end.

It's simply pathetic that you're looking for a way to justify NATO breaking their promise.

Never mind, that NATO leaders have bragged about having Ukraine sign and renege on the Minsk Accords that, if implemented, would have prevented this war.

The truth is NATO and we more resemble the old Soviet Union than modern-day Russia. And, that is sickening to those of us with conscience.

Do you with Donald Trump or not?

https://dailywrap.uk/trump-blames-nato-expansion-for-sparking-ukraine-conflict,7040948931327617a

Trump blames NATO expansion for sparking Ukraine conflict

Former President of the United States and Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump stated that, in his opinion, the war erupted due to Ukraine ignoring Russia's warnings about the possibility of Ukraine joining NATO.

Trump was a guest on Thursday's "All In" podcast hosted by financier and Elon Musk's associate David Sacks, known for his pro-Russian views. The Republican candidate stated that Ukraine joining the North Atlantic Alliance would be "madness."

During the conversation, Trump was asked if he would agree to exclude the possibility of Ukraine joining NATO as part of the negotiations to end the war in that country. In response, the former president suggested that the issue of Ukraine's potential accession to NATO might have provoked Russia to take aggressive actions against Ukraine.

"Russia does not want NATO and its forces at its border" - For 20 years, I heard that if Ukraine goes into NATO, it's a real problem for Russia. I've heard this for a long time. I think that's why this war started - Trump said. He accused the current U.S. President, Joe Biden, of causing the conflict with his "provocative" statements during the escalating tensions before the Russian invasion.

- Biden was saying all the wrong things and one of the wrong things he was saying - "No, Ukraine will go into NATO," that's one of the many things he said. When I listened to him speak, I said, "This guy is gonna start a war." - Trump said.

LOL, there is no such treaty and never was, what is wrong with you that you keep thinking that NATO and the Soviet Union wrote up and signed such a thing.

There was an absolute promise made to the Russians not to expand NATO eastward AS I HAVE PROVEN by presenting evidence that the promise was made.

You hate the Russians and don't give a damn how dishonest we or NATO are.

And, that is kind of mentality that got us into this failed proxy war with Russia to begin with and has closer to WW III and nuclear war than we were during the Cold War.

A treaty would mean something, your claims are ridiculous.

A treaty between all the nations of of NATO and the nations of the Soviet Union agreed to and ratified would be a treaty, talking about something isn’t anything.

The Soviet Union, America and Europe did not make world changing deals by just throwing out some words while talking to each other and then never doing any follow up.
