We saw people kayaking in the dark just hours after we saw a hungry alligator in the canal where we were staying. No thanks.
If a gator comes towards you once you are noisy, that means he wants more food, and he’s not scared of you. I like to keep them at a distance, not jump in the water with them.
Splashing around making noise attracts them...........ALL of them..................
