Poor Crow, all tangled up & feeling blue.
Though, I’m not sure I would have been the one dialing 911 about it.
You can be sure, that particular Crow will never forget the faces of the people who freed him. He will communicate this knowledge to all of his pals, too.
I’ve always heard that Crows are very bright, and have a tight memory of people or certain features of that person in that location.
Yes, they are extremely intelligent birds..................
they are so bright that they have figured out that cars crush things like nuts- so they drop things liek walnuts, or whatever the area had on roadways, wait for cars to run over them and collect them when the traffic slows down
also they will remember faces for many years- and be able to pick them out of a crowd and either sound an alarm, or tell others that the friendly person is back- etc—

So the next day that crow sees a fire truck he will swoop down to see his friends and get flattened on the road.
Not so long ago a crow outside was a harbinger of death.
Crows have long been associated, for instance, with mystery and magic. While many believe that seeing a crow is a harbinger of death, others say the presence of a dead crow means the end of bad things and the beginning of all things new and good.
It was amazing that instead of flying up and away, the crow swooped down over the lawns of the people nearby, maybe of those children cheering its release.
