Yep! That's it exactly. Euro NATO is doing everything that they can to provoke Putin so as to justify their thirst for war. Germany is in the forefront.
We spent a lot of American lives fighting Europe's war middle of the last century. We were sort of drawn into that by Japan (attacking Pearl Harbor), but FDR wanted in to the European theater war - or so say many.
I think the thing that bothers me most about the Euro/Russia confrontation is that every reason we are fed for getting involved is a lie! Ukraine is not a free democratic state, Russia did not destroy the original peace initiative, Ukraine does not represent a 'domino' theory of Russian global aggression, the United States does not have to commit a $1/2 trillion aid package to balance Russia's aggression, money that has led to immense corruption on both ends of that wormhole... and mostly because I agree with Trump: even I, I think, could negotiate a peace fairly easily if I had the power - the power to end the corruption enriching so many well-placed fat cats.
The U.S./NATO scheme to permit Ukraine to join NATO is the biggest lie since it presupposes that Russia will fight a nuclear war to prevent that. Truth is, Ukraine has no chance of joining NATO nor is there any good reason to permit such a disaster. Russia has 'owned' the eastern end of Ukraine and its access to the Crimea for centuries; Crimea is Russia's only warm water port to the world's oceans and has been for a few hundred years. It represents the status symbol of Russia's global naval power.
Ukraine and NATO knows all this. Would the U.S. give up Hawaii as its port of entry into the Pacific theater?
All I can hope is that Trump comes back before their evil plans are completed.
