What are you missing ?
You are way ahead of me in condescension beginning with your stealth post about me @ post #1439.
And that’s based on what we don’t know about each other and the assumed ignorance of each.
I started on the hardware side as an operator for 5 years in 67(with a couple of years out for being in the service). After 10 years in insurance claims, I got back into DP(or IT) and had 32 years on the software side as a system analyst\tester developing systems for organizations that are household names.
Cletus ? He’s ok. FR courtesy is to ping the one you mention. I’ll do it for you here.
Glad you have it all figured out.
FreeRegards
Nice dodge of the questions and a B-E-A-UTIFUL slide into a subsequent redirection!
#1439 wasn’t about you, pookie, that’s why you weren’t pinged. It was a congratulations to someone seeing thru the “Kletus Klan FUD”. I see you’re vibrating on the same level as ole Cletus... birds of a feather...
I generally don’t associate with human debris and that’s why I didn’t ping “it”, but I’ll ping “it” just to be “courteous” and hopefully get a coherent response other than avoidance and obfuscation on a very simple question.
I know words and things are hard... so, let me ask again more succinctly....
“Why should we trust the drops on a potentially compromised platform if the ID field is set... but it’s ‘fake news’ if it isn’t set?”
With all those years of wisdom acquisition as a “ANAList/tester”... I would expect a more profound response. EVERY PROFESSION HAS A BELL CURVE... It’s abundantly clear where you fall on that curve.
Finally, you cannot even correctly ping someone on FR when trying... Why should anyone take your technical advice or pontification?
So, last chance. “Why should we trust the drops on a potentially compromised platform if the ID field is set... but it’s “fake news” if it isn’t set?”
Apologies to anyone reading this that wasn’t pinged, consulted, molested, or whatever. I’ll try better next time.
