ransomnote: I wrote this post because I am surprised to note an FR thread that seems similar to or is a version of 'Sovereign Citizenship' posted to the forum. I don't share their beliefs, yet I don't like the way the MSM and FBI 'utilize' that group for their psyops, and then link it to fake 'Qanon'. To skip this content, please scroll down, keeping both eyes on the road and both hands firmly on the steering wheel as you accelerate.

The DS and MSM would love to frame websites like FR as a platform for sovereign citizenship.

And now, a word from the crazy Southern Poverty Law Center, which claims the Soverign Citizens Movement "is a fusion of Q-centric conspiracy theories, science fiction, and fake alternative governments..."

Sovereign Citizens Movement

Sovereign citizens believe they are not under the jurisdiction of the federal government and consider themselves exempt from U.S. law. They use a variety of conspiracy theories and falsehoods to justify their beliefs and their activities, some of which are illegal and violent.

Top takeaways

The sovereign citizen movement continued to see membership growth in 2022. The QAnon conspiracy theory that initially brought new people into the movement has remained a gateway into sovereign citizenship. A new group, which calls itself Life Force Network, is a fusion of Q-centric conspiracy theories, science fiction and fake alternative governments and courts called sovereign citizen “assemblies.”

ransomnote: And here's the ADL opinion of the Sovereign Citizens:

"The sovereign citizen movement is a large anti-government extremist movement whose adherents believe the government is the illegitimate product of a conspiracy that subverted the original, lawful government. They claim people can take steps to divorce themselves from the illegitimate government, after which it has no authority or jurisdiction over them

SNIP

Sovereign citizens in recent years have been able to grow their movement by appealing to new audiences, including anti-vaxxers, QAnon adherents, and MAGA supporters. The movement has also spread extensively in jails and prisons around the country. Sovereign citizens have increased their international presence as well, spreading to a number of countries around the world."

ransomnote: The cabal has been trying to smeer Q as dangerous by linking the movement to prior Deep State incitement efforts. I almost feel sorry for that Sovereign Citizens group because they are being portayed as violent, dangerous etc. just like Q and MAGA.

Whistleblower @JohnHereToHelp talked about the FBI's infiltration and escalation of a specific group of 'Soverign Citizens'. The FBI ramped up that group one step at a time, moving them from information war activism to something much bigger - I think it was shoulder fired rockets and an assassination plot to kill conservative Supreme Court justicies. Since that infiltration, all those espousing the original Sovereign Citizen's movment ideas are portrayed as  inherently violent and linked to 'Qanon'.

The person who posted that thread on FR explicitly states they are not a 'Sovereign Citizen' but are instead an 'American Sovereign.'  I dunno - cause they support a 'divorce' from the US and talk about 'assemblies'. Just wanted to portray the issue for those not famliar with this content.

Perhaps this is common knowledge, but just in case: the SPLC was founded by Morris Dees, whose wife subsequently sued for divorce on the grounds of sexual perversion practices. The divorce is a matter of public record if anyone wants to see it.

The SPLC exists for one major purpose: to make $$$$ and it makes plenty. Of course it supplies its high paying donors with just the sort of information that they want. The media quotes SPLC as an 'authoritative source' but never explains what makes it authoritative. 🤷

Ransom; Sovereign Citizen Movement.

Some notes from my "Quotes" file. I suspect that a "Sovereign Citizen" is "Term of Art" with a reserved legal meaning that is being used in a more general sense to justify the Sovereign Citizen movement. ("The People" would be another.)

In view of the various abuses by the deep state there is a certain attraction to their position. People can gauge for themself based on the legal citations supporting their view. (This was taken from a FR thread a number of years ago.)

THE SOVEREIGNTY OF THE US CITIZEN

"It is the public policy of this state that public agencies exist to aid in the conduct of the people's business....The people of this state do not yield their sovereignty to the agencies which serve them." [California Government Code, Section 11120.]

In enacting this chapter, the Legislature finds and declares that the public commissions, boards and councils and the other public agencies in this State exist to aid in the conduct of the people's business....The people of this State do not yield their sovereignty to the agencies which serve them. [California Government Code Section 54950.]

Laws, whether organic or ordinary, are either written or unwritten. [California Code of Civil Procedure, Section 1895.] A written law is that which is promulgated in writing, and of which a record is in existence. [California Code of Civil Procedure, Section 1896] The organic law is the Constitution of Government, and is altogether written. Other written laws are denominated statutes. The written law of this State is therefore contained in its Constitution and statutes, and in the Constitution and statutes of the United States. [California Code of Civil Procedure, Section 1897]

Any judicial record may be impeached by evidence of a want of jurisdiction in the Court or judicial officer, of collusion between the parties, or of fraud in the party offering the record, in respect to the proceedings. [California Code of Civil Procedure, Section 1916]

...at the Revolution, the sovereignty devolved on the people; and they are truly the sovereigns of the country, but they are sovereigns without subjects ...with none to govern but themselves..... [CHISHOLM v. GEORGIA (US) 2 Dall 419, 454, 1 L Ed 440, 455 @DALL (1793) pp471-472.]

The very meaning of 'sovereignty' is that the decree of the sovereign makes law. [American Banana Co. v. United Fruit Co., 29 S.Ct. 511, 513, 213 U.S. 347, 53 L.Ed. 826, 19 Ann.Cas. 1047.]

The people of this State, as the successors of its former sovereign, are entitled to all the rights which formerly belonged to the King by his prerogative. [Lansing v. Smith, 4 Wend. 9 (N.Y.) (1829), 21 Am.Dec. 89 10C Const. Law Sec. 298; 18 C Em.Dom. Sec. 3, 228; 37 C Nav.Wat. Sec. 219; Nuls Sec. 167; 48 C Wharves Sec. 3, 7.]

....This declaration of rights may not be construed to impair or deny others retained by the people." [California Constitution, Article 1, Declaration Of Rights Sec. 24.]

The state cannot diminish rights of the people. [Hurtado v. People of the State of California, 110 U.S. 516.] The assertion of federal rights, when plainly and reasonably made, is not to be defeated under the name of local practice. [Davis v. Wechsler, 263 US 22, 24.]

Where rights secured by the Constitution are involved, there can be no rule making or legislation which would abrogate them. [Miranda v. Arizona, 384 US 436, 491.]

There can be no sanction or penalty imposed upon one because of this exercise of constitutional rights. [Sherer v. Cullen, 481 F 946.]

Whereas, the people of California have presented a constitution....and which, on due examination, is found to be republican in its form of government.... [Act [of Congress] for the Admission of California Into the Union, Volume 9, Statutes at Large, Page 452.]

Republican government. One in which the powers of sovereignty are vested in the people and are exercised by the people, either directly, or through representatives chosen by the people, to whom those powers are specially delegated. [In re Duncan, 139 U.S. 449, 11 S.Ct. 573, 35 L.Ed. 219; Minor v. Happersett, 88 U.S. (21 Wall.) 162, 22 L.Ed. 627." Black's Law Dictionary, Fifth Edition, p. 626.]

The State of California is an inseparable part of the United States of America, and the United States Constitution is the supreme law of the land. [California Constitution, Article 3, Sec. 1.]

This Constitution, and the Laws of the United States which shall be made in Pursuance thereof; and all Treaties made, or which shall be made, under the Authority of the United States, shall be the supreme Law of the Land; and the Judges in every State shall be bound thereby; any Thing in the Constitution or Laws of any State to the Contrary notwithstanding. [Constitution for the United States of America, Article VI, Clause 2.]
