Nothing brings humility like humiliation.
I have been readying to run tests on this problem this week. There are more issues not mentioned in this article. We (NASA contractors) are not impressed with what we have heard so far.
Yes, multiple thruster problems, oxidizer valve problem, dead cat in the engine compartment..................
As I stated prior,

guessed to have the number of leaks increase,
along with the coverup if necessary (as both have been)
Same with Columbia. They knew it would happen, all due to cfc-free foam, another brainless decision.

would be more interesting if the engine compartment had a live cat.
Or another country ( cough cough)
They may have to jettison the craft and let it come back empty if possible, just to be safe.
Then, either SpaceX or the Russians would have to send up a rescue craft. I don’t think Bezos boys are ready for such a mission..........................

The reason I used ‘dead cat in the engine compartment’ was because of a real situation that happened to a late friend of mine.
He was a retired Air Force guy working for the County Road Department.
One day he was supposed to take a big dump truck out to a worksite but when he tried to start it, there was a strange noise in the front of the truck and a thump-thump-thump that shook the cab.
So he called maintenance to come and look at it, thinking it threw a rod or something.
When they got there and opened the hood there was a dead cat in pieces all over the engine compartment. Apparently the cat had crawled into the engine bay to keep warm during the night and got tangled up in the belts and fan when he tried to start the engine.............
If we only had 1960s technology and those black women geniuses to do all the math for our space missions, we’d be soooo much better off!
