Someone is celebrating whiteness! How come no one is calling this racist?

Native American elders = Early political correctness that caught on in our culture and is sticking. It used mean any older person born in the US regardless of race.
A more correct name as used in other countries are indigenous and first peoples. They would best describe our American Indians.
I know this is off topic, but the left and their works over the years is just tiring.

WT State White Buffalo
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LaBYTUvHmx0
I’m standing on the Left in the 2nd photo of the Buffalo.
That was in 1967 (I’m 76). It was sculptured in plaster and coated with chipped fiberglass and resin spray. It is a 9-feet tall, 12-feet long, 1,800-pound statue.
It is no longer at the stadium, but was moved in 2019.
Today is the first time I have seen this video.

There's a Ted Nugent song in there.
To: Red Badger
No, over the years competing school football fans painted it different colors. Once they painted it like black polka dots. The coats of paint accumilated and it needed repair so they removed it. It was difficult to access to repair.
It was placed on hill above the stadium. We did a 5 gallon bucket brigade up the hill to put the cement in place for the base. Then they used a huge crane to lift the sculpture.
It was quite a deal. From 1967-2019 is a long time.
The 2nd photo I mentioned was on the cover of the fraternity’s national magazine. I still have a copy somewhere.

Why did they remove it? Maybe to keep some idiot in a Hawaiian shirt from getting stomped into a puddle while trying to steal it.
