I went on the Sound of Music bus tour in Austria. Very nice - but the actual geography made it impossible for the Trapp family to get to Switzerland as the movie depicts. But still my favorite movie also!

Richard Rodgers also won the Pulitzer Prize. He and Marvin Hamlisch are the only two to ever win PEGOT.
