Remember - according to the rrhof, sheryl crow looks down on these guys - as she strums a few chords w/ autotune.

I never knew how good I had it. No Auto tune back in those days, just pure talent.

3 wannabe shirtless Tarzans. Bad Time was put to prove they could do something other than this.

"3 wannabe shirtless Tarzans." Better than a shirtless sheryl crow.

Thanks for posting. Good memories of seeing Grand Funk Railroad, Ted Nugent and the Amboy Dukes and the MC5.

That is one of the best live performance recordings that I have seen. Thank for posting!

Those guys get NO credit. Mark Farner is the blue collar musician Springsteen has pretended to be.

When this was filmed - the 3 band members were 18, 20, and 21. Seem pretty polished for a raw sound.
Stuff like this and Jackson Browne writing These Days at age 16 just confound me.

Yeah, though I don’t know if they still tour.

They were a damned good band for about six years, bass player was fantastic (used to be with "? and the Mysterians").
Saw Mark Farner after he had mellowed out (was with Ringo Starr and Randy Bachman).

They do.
Don Brewer and Mel Schacher are there.
Max Carl is in Mark Farner’s spot and is great.
Mark Chatfield plays guitar as well and Tim Cashien plays keys.
It’s a VERY good band.

They sure get credit from me. I am always stunned when I hear the studio rendition of “Aimless Lady”. It has all the elements of good ol rock n roll.

I’m sure they are, but I just can’t get past no Mark Farner singing “We’re An American Band”. Guy has one helluva growl.
