Old Joe Biden traveled to France this weekend for the festivities surrounding the Anniversary of the D-Day invasion on June 6, 1944.
Before Joe Biden arrived in France his aides were hoping his visit would remind Americans of Ronnald Reagan’s famous speech on Normandy Beach on the 50th Anniversary of D-Day.

Reagan spoke at Point du Hoc on June 6, 1984. It was the 40th anniversary of D-day, not the 50th, as the article states.
And when Biden said: “Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall” everyone become really puzzled...

She herself said she only went for her PhD, according to her own husband, so that the correspondence to their home didn’t say Senator and Mrs. Biden - instead, it was Senator and Dr. Biden.

Jill does not have a Ph.D. She has a doctorate in education, an Ed.D.
I’m a little surprised Biden didn’t offer his personal reminiscences of scaling Pointe du Hoc, and of how he personally saved the lives of both Tom Hanks and John Wayne on the very same day — something he never wanted to boast about, but for real, just check it out.
