My belief that costly & escalating US involvement in a war between two belligerents that were formerly part of the same country, in an armpit of the world that most Americans can't find on a map, with no vital US interests at stake, no obvious way to win and no exit strategy, might NOT be in the best interests of the United States, does NOT make me a "Russia supporter" or a 'Ukraine supporter'. IMHO, the world would be a better place today if the US had let the Nazis & Soviets kill each other to the last man, 80 years ago.
;>)
They fought against the Soviets on the side of the Germans not because of a love of them, but because of their hatred for Russian occupation.
So, to prevent the Soviet Union from reforming on the backs of millions of free people in different nations, let's bleed them dry in Ukraine. Cost? Far less than the Cold War or the Green New Deal pushed by the Marxist congress and administration here.
It is a Russian false propaganda that it's cost and many here bought it. It is another false propaganda that Ukraine is Nazi now, or has ever been. The Finn's weren't Nazi's either, although for a while they fought with the Nazi's. They just hated the Russians who kept invading. You can see they admit the current danger by seeking NATO membership and many others want to join.
Support Ukraine with all our resources and eliminate the Russian threat once and for all. Far more fiscally responsible.
Now all we have to do is eliminate the corrupt spending domestically. It's a win/win.
It's an invasion by Putin, our enemy, of a European country for territorial conquest. Last time that happened was the start of WW2.
with no vital US interests
So the destruction of our enemies military (Russia), with no loss of US soldiers, is of no interest to us? Okay
