Respectfully I couldn't disagree more. The U.S. has a vital interest in this fight strategically. We spent TRILLIONS on the cold war. Putin and his supporters have declared they want to recreate the Soviet Union.
The first step was to swallow Ukraine. This nation was attacked and invaded without cause. They were never part of the same nation. They were taken over in the 20’s/30’s. Millions were starved to death to eliminate any opposition and the attempt to kill national sentiment. They remained an oppressed people to the fall of the Soviet Union.

They fought against the Soviets on the side of the Germans not because of a love of them, but because of their hatred for Russian occupation.

So, to prevent the Soviet Union from reforming on the backs of millions of free people in different nations, let's bleed them dry in Ukraine. Cost? Far less than the Cold War or the Green New Deal pushed by the Marxist congress and administration here.

It is a Russian false propaganda that it's cost and many here bought it. It is another false propaganda that Ukraine is Nazi now, or has ever been. The Finn's weren't Nazi's either, although for a while they fought with the Nazi's. They just hated the Russians who kept invading. You can see they admit the current danger by seeking NATO membership and many others want to join.

Support Ukraine with all our resources and eliminate the Russian threat once and for all. Far more fiscally responsible.

Now all we have to do is eliminate the corrupt spending domestically. It's a win/win.

Putin and his supporters have declared they want to recreate the Soviet Union.

Link to putin saying this? I do not believe it exists.

The first step was to swallow Ukraine. This nation was attacked and invaded without cause.

Choose 1:

A. Putin is a threat to the entire world.
B. Russia is weak and cannot even beat Ukraine.

The globohomopedos have pushed and prodded Russia to generate a war. Russia appealed to international organizations to resolve the issues, but was not given relief.

It is a Russian false propaganda that it's cost and many here bought it.

Just no. We are talking about bleeding the USA dry and ignoring the destruction of our own country.

You just compiled and repeated western intelligence propaganda narratives. You *may* be a zeeper.

A good post, Virginian. Now put on your Nomex fire suit, because the children are going to flame you for the rest of the day, or until some other shiny object distracts them.

Yes, there are many people who enthusiastically support US intervention in Ukraine, just as there were many Americans who enthusiastically supported US intervention in past conflicts around the world (Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iraq, etc.). I think it is likely that the time will come when the waste of resources and lives becomes obvious, and most Americans regret US involvement in the Ukraine conflict. As they say, “time will tell”...

Zeeper’s failed to listen when Anthony Blinken recently stated that the US intensions to place Nuclear Missiles in Ukraine as early as May 2020 was the Red Line which forced Russia to invade Ukriane.

Sometimes the truth comes out. Blinken-Idiot sometimes lets the cat out of the bag.

Brics is re-creating a COLD WORLD for the US who has threatened, sanctioned, fined, or economically crushed for the last 20 years. Saudi Arabi just ditched the Petro Dollar for Gold Backed currencies.

Russia doesn’t have to do anything. The EU and US have sanctioned themselves into the cornor of the room, and the rest of the world is moving on without US.

Profligate spending on foreign wars which possibly incites WW3 is the way to eliminate corrupt domestic spending? Interesting economic theory!

We spent TRILLIONS on the cold war.

You must be an economist! We are the greatest debtor nation in history leaving an insurmountable debt to our children’s grandchildren, partially because of profligate spending during the Cold War, and you advocate for funding foreign wars against nuclear superpowers?
