Fred (George Peppard) hears Holly (Audrey Hepburn) singing on the fire escape below his apartment and goes out to listen.
From back when acting was an honorable profession. What a beautiful scene.
I once read that Henry Mancini said that was his favorite version of Moon River.
Nothing against Andy Williams and others, but yeah.
She was special. Played guitar for real here too - about as well as bruce springsteen has pretended to do for 50 years anyway.
Lol, still works on my husband, too.
Beautiful song in a great movie. Audrey Hepburn’s rendition is wonderful.
Killer video!
Stupid movie.
But a great song.
I think the movie gets a bad rap. Buddy Ebsen made it weirder, but there has to be an explanation. So that was that.
I thought George Peppard was great, and I’m glad they got Cat back.
Two losers find each other.
I prefer this upload from the movie from EverythingAudrey.com because it doesn’t have the outro music of the MovieClips channel, to affect the mood from the song.

Not a movie fan. Hollywood has been pumping garbage into our culture for decades.
Read a book. I know someone in their retirement that has ditched their TV. They read books.
Been a book worm for many, many decades.
Goof for you! I’ve come to like learning from educational YouTube videos. About many things.
