I had just paid $400 to have my lab Lucy’s stomach pumped and vitamin k treatment after she’d gotten into rat poison in the neighbor’s garage. I saw she’d eaten some of my xylitol gum, per online probably sub-fatal dose. I sat down next to her, put my arm around her, and said “Girl, we’re going to have to ride this one out.” Fortunately nothing came of it
that wasn’t very nice of you
Some peanut butters contain xylitol. Have to be really careful if you use peanut butter to get your dog to take medication.
