Orbán emphasized Hungary’s unwavering stance of non-participation in the war, firmly rejecting the idea of shedding Hungarian blood for Ukraine.
NATO’s Escalation and Militarization
Orbán criticized Western European leaders for considering the reintroduction of mandatory military service and increasing militarization, pointing out that such moves contribute to the escalation. He stated, “Every week we are closer to war,” expressing alarm over NATO’s plans to allow Ukraine to use Western weapons against Russian targets, which he believes could lead to a global conflict.
Hungary’s Firm Stance on the War
Highlighting the potential for a catastrophic escalation, Orbán remarked, “War is a monster that is constantly hungry, it must be fed, and I see that the Americans and the Democratic government of the United States, and the leaders of the European Union, are ready to feed it.” He reiterated Hungary’s position of non-participation, stressing, “This war must not cause suffering to the Hungarians. We have got to stay out of this war...”

The latter portion could be translated to: One day's ration of wheat for a day's wage, or three day's ration of barley for a day's wage! But don't damage the olive oil or the wine!

Orbán has chosen neutrality because it’s best for his country. Quite a novel concept these days.

Why do you insist on capitalizing the word sodomy? It is not a judgment of God, it is a proclivity of a sinful society. God doesn’t lead people into sin.

Every civilization is history that has grown strong, and not so strong also, has a problem with homosexuality, and when rampant, invariably destroys the host civilization. Everytime.
Before the advent of Chrisitanity, and in cultures where Judeo-Christianity was unheard of, homosexuality was just part of society. It was not defined as a separate aspect of sex. American soldiers say it is prevalent in Afghanistan; were astonished by it.
Most of the leaders back then had two harems, one comprised of females and one of males.

Now, certainly, queer-consciousness is greater today. Two hundred years ago if you went to a hotel and rented a room, you might have to share a bed with a male stranger, strange as it may seem.
In the old days, there was a quaint habit; when men made contracts (oaths), they grabbed each others testicles to seal the deal. It is mentioned when Abraham’s servant was sent to get Issac a wife; he had to grab Abraham’s testicles to affirm the contract. And that went on even into the early Roman days.
