Mixed bag. I’ve used salt water on our chickens to remove chicken lice and it’s effective but the salt concentration has to be very high and it might take two or three treatments.

The best result I get is still using flea shampoo for dogs.

But wild animals will do what they have to and I’ve seen it written before that they can swim in salt water to clear up parasites.

I used lemongrass oil on my dog. You have to use a base oil, because it's too strong on it's own. A friend told me about using vinegar, have to look into that.

My dog hasn't chosen to go into the ocean yet, although 75% of her breeds would say she would. Should I ground her, if she doesn't?
