The fallout of Chicago Sky guard Chennedy Carter's hard foul on Caitlin Clark keeps getting uglier.
Four days after Carter delivered an unprompted shoulder check in the Indiana Fever rookie, three of her Sky teammates reported being harassed at a team hotel. The Sky face face the Washington Mystics in a road game on Thursday.
While Carter is not mentioned by name in any of the tweets, Angel Reese and Isabelle Harrison said one of their teammates was specifically targeted with a camera in her face as the team exited its bus. Michaela Onyenwere said the team's security managed to de-escalate the situation.
The Chicago Sun-Times' Annie Costabile later provided more detail, reporting a single man approached the team with a camera and attempting to speak with Carter. Per Sky general manager Jeff Pagliocca reportedly said police weren't called and the man was escorted away by team security.

Any publicity is good publicity being that it is the WNBA, otherwise nobody would know about them.
Lesbians will chase Caitlin Clark out of the league. She’ll “retire” to coach college basketball. We’ll forget that the WNBA existed in the first place.
Larry Bird a white guy and Magic Johnson a black guy, were two of the greatest rivals and greatest skills in the NBA. They were fierce competitors against each other. They were also good friends. Contrast this against what is going on with Caitlan Clark. Something is very wrong in WNBA.
They're guys. That's the main difference.
The WNBA needs a strong commissioner who rules with an iron fist. But everyone is being woke. So it's disaster. And everyone is watching it right now (and talking about it).

You would think that being a lesbian and minority that she would be more tolerant of someone not like her. Funny how that works.
Our director of HR had to hire a specialist whose only task was to keep an eye on their conduct and load them up with measurable tasks every time they stabbed each other in the back. After a year or so of piles of tasks every time they hated on each other, they eventually stop or get fired for failing to meet work standards.
If she is smart, she will go that route.
She can do a lot more good mentoring other young women then trying to compete with a bunch of jealous lesbians.

Men are generally better at ‘compartmentalizing’ (sp?) So Bird and Jordan play hard but after the game they’ll go out for beers. Women normally don’t operate that way. They’ll hold a grudge and never forget an insult. C’est la vie...

It’s been my observation that a large congregation of women in any workplace are bitchy and backstabbing when a new attractive woman comes into the mix.
Throw in race and sexual preference and Caitlin Clark is the perfect mix to create real problems among the existing women in WNBA

Actually, the elbows, shoulders, and other contact is not far from what happens in the NBA. Rookies get branded in the first couple of years until they gain the respect of the other players by surviving the hits and fighting back either on the boards or just a straight right to the jaw. It’s part of the game for the men and the women are trying to sell out their arenas the same way. But the effort to be more violent in the WNBA won’t make the grade as they are still trying to sell the attractive female with hair styles and makeup on the court. Can’t have it both ways.

Any new kid gets hazed in just about anything. In her case she’s a GIANT new kid, getting a LOT of special media attention. Easier than predicting sunrise.
