The story is factually correct about 85% of the time, but the propaganda and opinions are quite absurd.

The offensive was a bust, yes. The Russians tactics and equipment suck.

But the defense was very costly, albeit not as costly as to the Russians. Eventually, Russia will win, albeit letting its boys die in a 7:1 ratio. I would assume the Russians have some mad mothers ready to march on Moscow at this point. The term “pyrrhic victory” may soon be replaced with “Ukrainian Victory.

Some statements were just stupid. There are no “pro-Russian” lawmakers in Congress. There are lawmakers who (correctly) think the USAs own borders should be strengthened and otherwise have differing priorities than yet another Eastern European quagmire.

I think you are mistaken.

There are not as many pro-Russian lawmakers in Congress as there are pro-Chinese lawmakers. China is the country which gains the most from this stupid war. Russia is weakened, the USA is weakened, China gains in military and economic dominance, especially over Russia.

Look at the hundreds of millions of dollars paid to the Bidens.

Realize members of Congress are targets for similar bribes, and particularly, honey traps, extortion and blackmail by foreign agents.

Probably not as many pro-Russian lawmakers in Congress because China has much more money to spread about than Russia does.

May 15, 2024: Ukraine withdraws troops around Kharkiv as Russian offensive gathers pace

May 21, 2024: Thousands flee Russian offensive in Kharkiv region

May 23, 2024: Russia’s latest offensive into Kharkiv Oblast is stretching Ukrainian defenses

So provide us with your sources that state most of what is claimed here is true, and that there has been a 180 reversal in what has been reported in the articles that I posted.

“Eventually, Russia will win, albeit letting its boys die in a 7:1 ratio”

The BBC Mediazona joint (generally pro-Ukrainian) project counting Russian casualties has an interesting website: https://en.zona.media/article/2022/05/20/casualties_eng

For the Ukrainian casualties, a tight lid is kept on their losses. The numbers stated by Zelensky a few months ago are pretty much universally acknowledged to be wildly low.

I personally don’t see any reliable evidence that the Russian daily casualties are exceeeding the Ukrainian ones, let alone by a 7:1 margin.

Moscow Marge & crew are the pro-Moscow boosters. They are nuts. Allowing Russia to take UKR is a green light for Russia to take the rest of Europe they become the “pro-Russian” lawmakers in Congress”. Its a way for them to grandstand, get on TV, and collect more campaign funds to stay in power.

Conflating our border with the Russian invasion of is wacko - we need no more laws, regulations to shut the border - they are just using the US border issue as an excuse - a novel idea that too many on FR are swallowing. And which novel idea is put forward by real Russians posters on FR.
