In my opinion, 0bama was the one they appointed to start ‘pushing on the pillars’ - after they’d been hollowed out sufficiently. He was appointed to start the tumbling, destruction process. It’s been an avalanche ever since.

But the seeds were sown for the last 4-6 decades, starting in the 1960's. Bible removed from schools, murder of babies legalized, free love, homosexual accepted as a societal norm, etc. I could go on, but yes, Obama is the figure satan used to solidify his plans to destroy America.
There is no going back now that the lid has been taken off Pandora's Box, unless a "God sent" revival comes over us, but I with the plethora of false teachings across the nation I doubt that will happen either. Sure, God has His remnant, but those are the only reason why judgment hasn't fully come.

I’m a boomer, and I need to cope a lot, so I’ll give VDH a pass. But I think it happened somewhat earlier than you point out here. I think Eisenhower saw it and warned us. It comes out of the arrogance of power that developed after we won WW2. We began constructing theories and testing them out, moving pieces around the board, and with our financial and military power were able to begin creating an elite intelligentsia that would eventually result in an elitist empire. The rest flowed right out of that.
