Ex-Trump attorney Michael Cohen admitted during a fiery cross-examination in Donald Trump’s criminal trial he “stole” $30,000 from the Trump Organization after he was given funds to pay a tech firm—but although Trump’s lawyers are touting the admission, Cohen likely will not face charges, multiple New York criminal defense attorneys told Forbes.
Cohen admitted he held on to $30,000 from $50,000 he was supposed to use to pay a tech company called Red Finch on behalf of Trump—an admission Trump’s defense attorneys are hoping will harm his credibility before the jury, as Cohen is a key witness in the trial accusing Trump of falsifying business records related to hush money payments to Stormy Daniels.

I’ve seen speculation that Cohen has a plea deal with prosecution saying he will receive immunity for anything he admits to in trial in exchange for his testimony. If true that would explain his offering information that I would have expected he would conceal about his actions.

Civil theft is called “conversion.” It CA the statute of limitations is 3 years, but can be subject to “delayed discovery” so that the statute does not begin to run until the theft is discovered. Trump should sue.
The USA’s two tier justice system:
Democrats felonies aka misdameanors ... no charges necessary
Republicans misdameanors aka felonies ... no one is above the law ... maximum jail time and fined $$$
