The entire first side of the first album. Plus Duece.
You Love Me to Hate You
“Lick it Up
Just for a few huge misses on this list.”
It’s #13 on the list.
I disagree with a bunch of these - Cold Gin, Strange Ways, Parasite, Black Diamond, God of War and Detroit Rock City should all be on the list. But I am happy they left off I Was Made For Loving You.
My thoughts exactly.
I wonder why they left “Beth” off the list. It’s the best KISS song, IMO.
I was a child when Kiss were at their peak, so I’m not familiar with most of their songs.
Here are their songs with which I’m familiar:
Beth
Detroit Rock City
Rock And Roll All Night
I was Made For Loving Youj ( a fun workout song)
The writer claims that “Hard Luck Woman” was sung by Paul Stanley; actually, Peter Criss does the vocals.
Gene Simmons. The King of shameless self promotion.
Ditto. F*** him.
It’s lesser known, but “Sure Know Something” is a just plain ass-kicker of a song.
Kiss can besame coolo
And that’s where I stopped reading.
There were 13??
Who knew.
Don’t forget Joe Bidens favorite,”Christine Sixteen”.
“She’s been around but she’s young and clean....”
This product of the Motown diskery was quickly pulled off the market when another band that was very popular claimed that the Hornets had ripped off their style and threatened to sue.
I think “Beth” is to Kiss gatekeepers what “Another Brick in the Wall Part 2” is to Pink Floyd gatekeepers. It’s a great song (I’d argue that the guitar solo from Another Brick is one of the greatest, most iconic guitar solos in history), but it’s atypical and way more well known than other songs, so the gatekeepers have to put it down.
I never cared for Kiss - limited talent who produced loud noise.
Very superficial...a more talented Milli Vanilli.
How about kiss songs? Kiss me once, Louis Armstrong best kiss song ever.
