If they can do that to TRUMP, they can do that to YOU

(At the end of this editorial, I'm offering the opportunity to get a bumper sticker to spread this message)

A long time ago, in 2005, I saw something George W. Bush had done, and I remarked: "First we beat the Soviet Union, then we became them." Little did I know that in under twenty years, we would see Soviet-style Show Trials. We just witnessed the most high-profile Show Trial in American history, where the President (and current candidate for a second term) was put through a trial where all of the elements were crafted to ensure a guilty verdict on manufactured crimes.

Consider the following elements:

In short, a "hanging judge" was selected in a politically-hostile jurisdiction, wherein which the judge defied nearly every rule of evidence and law, muzzled the defense, and promoted every prosecution request, no matter how outrageous.

This harkens back to the Soviet Show Trial era that Josef Stalin used to eliminate his opponents. Joe Biden personally showed that this fake trial was politically motivated by flashing a demonic grin when he was asked about the verdict, as he shuffled away from reporters.... and he sent a Trump-hating actor (Robert DiNero) to the courthouse to further assassinate Trump's character.

The so-called judge in this case, Juan Merchan, Merchan violated President Trump's Fifth and Sixth Amendment rights in so many ways.

To point out the motivations of this so-called judge (besides, of course, Trump Derangement Syndrome), it was revealed that Merchan's daughter (a Democrat consultant) is poised to receive $125 Million in fees, and was given unlimited access to his court.

If such a political, Soviet-style Show Trial can happen to a former President who also is a billionaire, is most certainly can happen to you.

So the NY state government is going to prosecute me for filing false shell company business records to hide hush money payments? You mean metaphorically, right?

No, I mean the use of Soviet-Style Show Trials for, not just their political opponents, but the supporters of their political opponents.

Right down to the individual points I presented.

Good points. But she did testify, and she was allowed to spew her drivel, but not take questions on her own culpability and motivations. Merchan made sure of that.

To Wit:

“6. To convict President Trump of a crime not named, but commonly assumed to be tied to whether he sought to support his presidential election campaign by secretly mischaracterizing a “hush money” payment to a hooker-stripper, the hooker was put on the stand. She then described her supposed tryst with Trump in vivid detail. None of that had any relevance to the charges in the case. He was not being accused of hiring a hooker. But the testimony was allowed in to prejudice the jury. The jury was being asked to believe this hooker who, by any definition of English, makes her money by having no shame and violating all morality in exchange for money. She already knew from experience that, if she claims she dallied with Trump, she immediately can garner $130,000 in cash regardless of the veracity or mendacity of her claim. She therefore knew from experience that, if she suddenly is accorded a spotlight that will bring her to worldwide notoriety, she can ensure herself untold hundreds of thousands more if she describes in lurid detail on her world stage a seedy encounter with Trump. She will sell her story to magazines, to someone who writes a book that she “co-authors,” and to a movie producer who will pay her a fortune for the opportunity to put out a film that has a scene where an actor in boxer shorts and a condom lies on a bed with a naked prostitute. Think of all the money that will make at the box office! And worldwide rights. And streaming. And residuals. She knows her world. She knows her customers. The jury is asked to believe that her description of a tryst with Trump is Pure Truth, with no motivation for her to lie. And, again, her entire testimony has no pertinence to the case. But she hates him and wants to hurt him, and he called her a “dogface,” and she owes Trump $620,000 from a prior court judgment that she has made clear she will not pay (although, if she does make big money off her trial testimony, ironically Trump finally will be able to collect his half million by attachment. A fitting O. Henry twist, if ever.)”

I don’t know if in the trial she had to cop to owing him $620K from another case. In any event, undoubtedly Merchan would have disallowed it. But it is again a massive reversible error on his part.

My bumper sticker would say “Deport Merchan”.

The FBI was official on July 06, 1908

The FBI’s first ‘lab’ as created November 24, 1932.

The FBI’s first major case using their new ‘lab’ was the LINDBERGH BABY case. The kidnapping was March 1, 1932.

On September 19, 1934, Bruno Richard Hauptmann was taken into custody and was indicted for extortion a week later. His arrest brought an end to the more than two-year-long investigation into the kidnapping and murder of Charles Augustus Lindbergh, Jr., the 20-month old son of famous aviator Charles Lindbergh.

The FBI ‘lab’ proved Hauptmann did it. Since then, it is suspected that the FBI falsified this evidence and that Hauptmann was not guilty.

SO.... I’d say “it’s been like this” since 1932 when the FBI got their own lab so they could falsify evidence and get away with it.

If the FBI really wanted to ensure that JUSTICE was not corrupt, they would always have insisted that the testing be done by independent laboratories.

Nice bumper sticker, Laz.

The greatest wrong is that all this strain is literally killing President Trump. No human can endure what he is enduring at his age.

So saddening that younger congressmen and senators, and even his own lawyers let him take this abuse without countersuing, filing subpoenas, and aggressively defending the President.

Instead, they let him stand out and wear himself out, talking himself hoarse, getting furious about this, instead of doing more aggressive things to counterattack.

His lawyers are wimps. The congressmen and senators are wimps. His connections in NYC are absent or invisible or intimidated.

His civil rights are being grossly abused, and he maybe needs a civil rights lawyer to call a halt to this.

His attorneys are pretty and vivacious, very telegenic, but two things they are not, is effective, and mean and nasty.

The lawyers he has representing him are naive, insecure, lack assertiveness, and are just pretty-faced wimps who scored high on tests.

They absolutely suck and Trump needs mean sons of bitches to be his lawyers. Mob lawyers maybe.

But in truth I feel like crying because they are all going to wring their hands and do nothing while that brave old man suffers a heart attack. Maybe dies. Because brave or not, the epinephrine level in him must be sky high, and the worst thing we can do is to egg him on to keep it all bottled up, showing a brave face, day by day. Nobody avoids being damaged by this kind of stress, no matter how brave a face they put on it.

And while I can’t find it, someone brought up the lack of prosecution on the Biden file boxes. I asked if those charges could still be filed. IMHO, they should be.

Very few people are really moved by that often repeated meme because they know they are too insignificant to be prosecuted in a kangaroo court. The Dems are after celebrities, political activists, and leaders to take down.

We need something else to move Joe Six Pack off the couch and he isn’t afraid of being a political target.

A little education can cure that. Stalin's Russia. Hitler's Germany.

Ordinary insignificant people were killed by the millions.
