Putin suffers Black Sea nightmare as Ukrainian drones wipe out seven boats in major blow

Ukraine destroyed seven boats in a devastating attack on Russia's Black Sea navy in the Crimea.

Ukraine launched a spectacular and devastating attack on Russia's Black Sea Fleet, inflicting major damage on Putin's navy.

The Black Sea Fleet is stationed in Crimea, which was illegally annexed by Russia in 2014.

Throughout the current war, Ukraine has managed to sink a number of vessels from the fleet including the Moskva flagship missile cruiser.

Through a combination of missiles and drones, Kyiv's army has succeeded in nullifying the threat from Putin's navy in the Black Sea, regularly inflicting huge humiliations on the fleet.

This has allowed Ukraine to keep open its commercial sea channels, enabling it to continue its grain exports - a vital source of income for Kyiv's beleaguered government.

In another daring raid captured by onboard video cameras, Ukrainian maritime drones attacked a a Russian ship-and-boat warehouse in the Crimea.

Russia's army scrambled its aircraft thirty two times in a desperate bid to prevent the drones from hitting their target.

In the General/Chat forum, on a thread titled Putin suffers Black Sea nightmare as Ukrainian drones wipe out seven boats in major blow, MeganC wrote:

If the CIA is solely responsible for the 2014 Color Revolution in Ukraine then the FSB is solely responsible for the Putinista Cabal on Free Republic.

See, that logic works both ways.

No it doesn't.

Americans understand the world-wide reach and decades of experience the CIA has had in successfully overthrowing countries around the world. In your country the FSB must seem bigger than life, but it's not.

I also mentioned NATO, which is the US's money along with smaller nations. Te FSB does not drive the will of NATO or fund it like the US does. Perhaps if you travel outside your country you will discover this for yourself.

THere is an audio tape of Nuland discussing the overthrow if the Ukrainian government in 2014. There isn't a similar exposure of the FSB's role. REally your comparison is irrational, pitting the resources of the United States and the history of the CIA against the resources of the FSB and its history. Sure the FSB is known to be dispatched to countries and threaten people like Tucker Carlson, but it was almost juvenile in it's approach, like you are with your silly comparisons.

You’re kind of a one-track troll aren’t you?

Engaging with you in any kind of constructive dialogue is pointless, is that right?

...something that the pro-Russian crowd here wants to forget.

You cannot seem to get it through you head that we are not the pro-Russian crowd.   We are the anti-Ukraine destroying out economy, depleting our military assets and risking a Global Thermonuclear War that will annihilate us all.

You are trying to destroy the world, Russia is just in your way.

Petrosius wrote: The EU/Ukraine agreement was supported by 2/3 of the people, had been supported by Yanukovych himself when he ran for president, and was approved by the parliament.

ransomnote: And Biden supposedly won more votes than Obama, even though he hid in his basement, rarely campaigned, and no one showed up at his events.

And what evidence, other than wishful thinking, do you have that 2/3 of Ukrainians did not support the EU/Ukrainian agreement? Even Yanukovych had earlier supported it and ran his election campaign on that support.

Petrosius wrote: But Yanukovych reversed himself at the last minute because of Russian interference and intimidation and attempted to bind Ukraine to the Russian lead Eurasian Economic Union, something that the pro-Russian crowd here wants to forget.

ransomnote: Everything the CIA does is automatically blamed on Russia Russia Russia in the United States, too!

Except in this case we have the economic blackmail that Putin used against Ukraine to block the deal. Yanukovych did not reverse himself and go against public opinion and his own campaign promises for no reason.

Petrosius wrote: The popular protests were spontaneous and not CIA driven. They got out of hand when Yanukovych resorted to violence. He then fled the country and was removed by the democratically elected parliament, not by a CIA coup.

ransomnote: It was a CIA coup. President Trump and Nuland herself confirm it. The protests probably 'got out of hand' the same way the January 6 protests 'got out of hand' (CIA) and perhaps Yanukovych 'resorted to violence' or maybe he was just accused of it, like Trump is accused of inciting the Jan 6 'insurrection.'

Again, except here Yanukovych's security forces actually attacked the Ukrainian protesters.

Petrosius wrote: Additionally, there have been two popular national elections since. Something else that the pro-Russian crowd wants to forget.

ransomnote: Now that the CIA overthrow of the Ukraine is complete, you'll keep having 'popular national elections' which somehow maintain NATO control of the Ukraine.

Yes, someone who is committed to the Russian cause could not imagine that the Ukrainian people would prefer EU prosperity over Russian domination. It just could not happen, right?

Petrosius wrote: All this talk about a "CIA coup" is a bunch of hogwash used to justify the Russian invasion and attempt to subjugate Ukraine.

ransomnote: CIA begins overthrow of the Ukraine and a few days later, Russia annexes the Crimea. Russia has wanted to negotiate from the start, but NATO won't let it's proxy in the Ukraine have peace. NATO wants regime change in Russia and will kill every Ukrainian to get it.

Complete mythology. Even Putin's own chief envoy to Kyiv has acknowledge that Zelensky offered neutrality and no NATO membership before Russia's invasion but that Putin declined because he wanted Ukrainian territory. And the Istanbul talks broke down not because of Boris Johnson's visit but because of the revelations of the Bucha massacre. And it has been Putin that has been insisting on regime change in Kyiv. But there are some who have no problem with that since, like Putin, they view Ukraine as properly a Russian dependency rather than as an independent country.

Petrosius wrote: Nor, as it is often claimed, is this a surrogate war except for the keyboard warriors who somehow imagine that a Russian victory would be a blow to the dreaded NWO. Russia could live in peace if they just went home.

ransomnote: Russia WAS living in peace but Hillary started 'working with' the Ukrainians around 2010 and when she couldn't get the leader of the Ukraine to play ball, the CIA intituted regime change by orchestrating the overthrow of the Ukraine (you know - Nuland's on tape talking about those she was installing in the Ukie government). Since then, NATO built a 600,000 man army in the Ukraine to hurl at Russia. Yes - A Russian victory, which is occurring as I type this, is a critical blow to the dreaded NWO.

Right, Ukraine would not have built a strong army in response to Russia's 2014 invasion. Just because Russia invaded once and still occupied Ukrainian land is no reason to believe that they would invade again, right? Given the size of Russia and its army, only a fool would think that there was any danger of Ukraine invading Russia. They are having a hard enough time defending themselves from a Russian invasion.

And how does Russian tyranny in Ukraine advance the fight against Soros and company in the West? By the way, Russia's Kharkiv offensive has stalled. Russian victory is not as assured as you would like to think. Really, your acceptance of Russian propaganda is embarrassing.

Like you not answering the question where and when did your husband kill Russians?

You do understand that by that claim that your hubby killed Russians, you have shown your partisan bias that we Americans who served in our military and won The Cold War don't have to suffer from.

We accepted Russians as neighbors, the same as Ukrainians and realize you are stuck in a time warp from 35 years ago.

Get a new hobby or go fight the Russians yourself.   I don't have a dog in your hunt.

And how is it that the “not the pro-Russian crowd” never, never criticizes Russia and its actions? Their only criticism is for Ukraine defending itself and those who are supporting who are supporting them defend themselves.

Nice try, but the meagre support that we are giving to Ukraine is a rounding error in the US economy — hardly sucking out the life blood — and it is Russia's actions that are causing us to give that support. Sorry, but your excuse to me seems hollow.

Audio tape of the CIA's Nuland working the details of the overthrow of the Ukraine isn't enough for you.

Trump's statement that the US was behind the overthrow of the Urkaine isn't enough for you.

Video tape of Biden extorting the Ukraine is not enough.

The DNC/Biden crime family money laundering (Burisma etc.) and other crimes won't be enough for you.

You will simply parrot talking points as if they are facts.

I'll put a diagram to depict a tiny part of the Biden/DNC crime families' actions in the Ukraine, as documented by Ukrainian investigators, and below the diagram, the link to the thread it came from.

Support for Zelensky/Ukraine is support for Biden/Deep State

It was illegal for the CIA to overthrow the Ukraine in 2014; Putin annexed the Crimea 2 days after the start of the NATO/CIA overthrow which they framed as a ‘peoples revolution’. For some reason, the Deep State and their MSN pretend that Russia was not provoked and simply went on a totalitarian rampage for no reason.>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Bears repeating....Obama could not get over how Putin bent him over and corn-holed him to oblivion on his “Arab Spring” initiative. So Obama took the low road.

OBama thought he could have a massive influx of jihadist refugees into the soft underbelly of Russia.BUT they were dioverted t9o the soft underbelly iof EUrope where Obama danced a revengeful jig at how he brought former colonial exploiters of brown and black people down low.

Putin was having none of it whichi is why he annexed Crimea. He prevented any Muslims form coming in.And Obama could not get over it.He sicked the CIA on Ukraine in 2914 to make the Ukraine inti a salient threat against Russia. And Pooty invaded.

This whole mess was caused by Obama and his tuirning of NATO into a Leftist neo colonial power that invaded Libya and the Balkans. Nato is no longer a defensive organization, and Putin treats it as such.

WHat a mess. Obama’s legacy. And we will be killing Muslims for decades to get clear of them and their world wide caliphate.Russia has been fioghting that battle a lot longer than the West has.

Not stalled. Uke troops taken from other areas arrived. Mission is to destroy Uke military. Russians need not advance when dead targets are replaced with more targets. When Ukes run out of replacement targets, Russians advance.

As for "Russian propanganda," try Austrian Colonel Marcus Reisner for an Austrian military professional analysis of the militaryu situation.

"Since your standard is that such claims must come with proof then what’s your proof that you served in the US military? Care to post a copy of your DD-214? That would work."

Of all the people on FR, YOU have the nerve to question an American soldier about him serving his country ???
You have no shame, do you?
You tell the most insane, idiotic stories..... about killing bears and your husband killing Russians....
You're a very sick person that needs urgent mental help!

Oh btw, I did a little research about your story of being attacked by a big, bad bear and you killing it. <
There was no bear attack or bear killing in your area.

higgmeister, thank you for serving your countryWV. 🇺🇸🇺🇲
