Can an administrator please explain why my thread regarding Grayson Murray was deleted?

I posted the breaking news regarding the death of Grayson Murray over three hours ago. In fact, it was within five minutes of it being announced on CBS Soorts. It has been removed and replaced by two other threads one, beginning at 5:35 and the other at 6:01. I would just like to know why. Thank you.

Probably an Admin. not noting the time stamp and deleting it due to duplication. That’s my guess.

I think the mods deleted your article because this article, with the same source, was posted just before yours. That's usually standard procedure around here - to reduce duplicates.

Thanks Jim. Not necessary, I was just confused as to what may have happened. We were watching CBS Sports when it was announced and I didn’t have a link other than the source which was CBS/Golf on TV. I was pretty sure I added that to the thread. Thanks and I will be more careful in the future.
