Even if your “cursory examination” is accurate that still leave 133 people that were NOT resisting DEAD. Almost 3 people a week. A little over 1 every 3 days.

And being “repeat offenders” is meaningless, their past is immaterial. What matters is right then.

I think there isn’t nearly enough hysteria to cops flat out murdering someone every 3 days. They’re supposed to serve and protect.

1. That is 133 people in a country of about 330 million.

2. There are roughly a million interactions with police all over the country, every week. That means your odds are 2.5 in a million IF you are in an interaction with a police officer. I have had 5 interactions with police officers in their official capacity, mostly due to traffic infractions, in my entire life. I have had many more interactions with officers in more casual circumstances. Just last weekend I had to have a well check done on my sister. They found her body. The officers could not have been more gracious and helpful.

3. When you look at the “not resisting” incidences most of them are full of idiots who do SOMETHING stupid.

4. Language like “murder” conjures up images of police just looking for someone to shoot. It leads to people being distrustful of law enforcement, leading to MORE issues.

How long have you had issues with authority? Can you show me on this doll where the police officer touched you?
