I don’t see why not, but it wouldn’t be good PR for the upcoming campaign.

Don’t know the legal answer, but given what’s going on with Trump, I say he will pardon if necessary. If it’s not legal, no one will stop him.

I would suspect he can, the question is, is it a wise thing to do? There are consequences in the market place.

Place your bets.

Of course he can pardon Hunter Biden.

The IRS and gun charges are federal crimes.

The President has the authority to pardon federal crimes.

President Biden could wait until after the election to pardon his son, thereby reducing most of the political push-back.

"Can President Biden pardon Hunter if he is convicted of the IRS and Gun charges?"

He says he won't; but ChiComjoe is a lying, murdering traitor.

Last thing I heard any threats from Jo Pedo when he resorted to using Camela Harris lingo in public when he pulled a Nikita Khruschev and said “Nobody ****s with a Biden.”

This is why it’s better for Hunter’s prosecution to be slow-walked

If there’s any real danger to Hunter, Biden will pardon him before or after the election. He’s arrogant enough to believe he can get away with anything. Even if staff pressures him about election affect, he won’t believe them and will assume any father will be understood to protect any son, especially one left behind after the death of his poor brother. Biden wonders if he ever mentioned that.

There’s no sense of reality in the White House. And they might even be correct about it having no effect. The news will turn Biden into a grieving father who had absolutely no choice after his heartless opponents purposely tried to ruin his innocent son just to get him.

I hope he does.

Will definitely help Trump and further expose the corrupt, two-tiered justice system for what it is.

Ex Parte Garland

https://supreme.justia.com/cases/federal/us/71/333/

...9. The power of pardon conferred by the Constitution upon the President is unlimited except in cases of impeachment. It extends to every offence known to the law, and may be exercised at any time after its commission, either before legal proceedings are taken or during their pendency, or after conviction and judgment. The power is not subject to legislative control...
