She is young. I doubt she can afford the income taxes to move into that house, the property taxes or upkeep.
As the house is still in limbo I bet she takes the $625k.

My husband is a yankee, but I have converted him into a Southerner. It’s taken a few years, but all he’s missing is the drawl. (Mine is gone also, but sneaks out from time to time.)
