Ted Stevens (R-AK senator long term, 30+ years) was killed in a plane accident some years ago. Something strange about that accident . . . his first wife was killed in a plane wreck.
Don Young, the AK 40+ year member of Congress, suffered a stroke or heart attack in an airport just over one term ago.
Was replaced by a relative unknown Native Alaskan, Mary- something, whose husband was killed in a plane wreck earlier this year . . .
