I had both eyes done about ten years ago. I would do it again for sure. My vision is still close to 20/20 in both eyes although I do need 1.25-diopter reading glasses. But I needed reading glasses in conjunction with contact lenses before the surgery.

I chose not to do just one eye because I thought it would be kind of weird.

Well, I don’t mind using reading glasses, and I know we might need them even after the surgery.

I’ve just always found prescription eyeglasses so disorienting that I’ve ceased using them as the prescription for that one eye kept getting stronger.
