I know brunch time is over, and get mad at me, but perusing the internet, I looked over the best Mother's day brunches in Dallas, and the Cresceant Club was offering a brunch buffet for $150 per person over 12 years old, and $60 for 12 and younger.

I know a day late and a dollar short, but really a $150 Mother's day brunch?

Also I get melancholy on Mother's Day, my Mother passed away some 20 years ago, she was a good egg.

We now do pot lucks for all the holidays, including Mother’s Day - and, bring it in your own dish which you take home to wash - and any/all leftovers.

This has worked well for us, especially since we have so many elderly family members and the younger ones with kids and jobs don’t want all the hassle, it’s a huge job, I know I’ve done it.

That, and we get to try new things each year.
