Completely lacking among most of the juvenile criminals today. The criminal kids are not fully to blame. Note even mostly to blame. There are no fathers around to raise them right. What outcome would you expect.
This video shows a good father, a concerned father utilizing tough love. Without a doubt, all her friends shoplift and that is where she learned it. Why pay money when none of your friends have to?
What a brutal environment in which to try to raise an honest child of good character. Good for the father. This girl has a good chance to stay our of prison and not become a felon.

I did this with my 5 year old stepson. I spoke with the store manager on the phone ahead of time and pre-arranged the outcome, as my son did all the talking when we returned to the store.
I could have smacked the store manager at the end as she was a mother and was so moved by the apology that she told my son he could keep what he stole! No chance that was going to happen.
