Dude, I don’t CARE if they burn whale oil or whatever for the power to charge the batteries. Didn’t you read I said it’s NOT ABOUT GLOBAL WARMING?
It’s about the BEST car, hands down.
And I was politely asking what fuels these EV’s? Aren’t EV’s supposed to save the planet?

What happens if you’re really fair about efficiency, and include the drilling, refining, transportation etc. for hydrocarbon fuels?
The killer problem, of course, is that there isn’t enough electricity available, and shutting down coal-fired (and other) plants is just making it worse. Plus, wind and solar power are nowhere near 24/7 available.
