The 2 that shocked me the most: 1. Latvia (well other Baltic states as well) they are tiny yet each suffered almost as much as the US 2. Indonesia. I’m even somewhat of a SW Pacific WW2 buff and didn’t realize so many were killed on those Islands.

A rather unenlightened presentation. It is not surprising some small countries had few deaths.
I would like to see a presentation as a percentage of population.
Poland had about 25% of its population killed in WWII.
