Why single out MTG? Where are ANY Repubs protesting about the lynching of our president? Hmmm... that would be, NOWHERE. So it appears MTG is no “less” than the rest. And potentially her “theater” in DC can have more effect than being in NY.
Thought experiment. Imagine Trump’s president and his former No. 3 at DOJ, after having been mysterious moved to a DA office in Texas, indicts Biden, then puts the leading Democrat opposition candidate on trial, prosecuting Biden in a ruby red county, before a ruby red jury. What would the democrats in DC be doing? Trying to unseat Hakeem?
You can bet that if this was tried on a Dem candidate, there would be mobs of protesters outside of each courtroom. Recall during the Clinton impeachment there were huge crowds protesting outside of the Capitol Building. Trump gets impeached twice on bogus charges and there is nary a protest.
Conservatives haven't quite learned the art of peaceful protests such as a sit in or, for example, a non violent march while singing the national anthem. Instead we get the buffoonery of J6. Yeah, I know the cops instigated some (not all) of the crowd but at the end of the day it was our folks who did the physical damage to the Capitol. We took the bait and they got the video footage they wanted to loop over and over and over again.
