Gator Ping!...............[testing]
Large is a nice area and heavily populated, with many being elderly......which would be my guess.
*** Statistically speaking, alligator attacks are fairly uncommon and almost never fatal. There have only been two reports of fatal attacks in Florida so far this year.
Data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) show that just 10 fatal gator attacks occurred in the southeastern U.S. between 1999 and 2019.***
Although I’m glad to see some agency has the data on morbidity and mortality, since when is being attacked by an alligator a “disease”? Not that I want there to be another bureaucracy.
Thanks for the ping!
A 14 footer, that’s a big ‘un.
