Yes, indeed. And a few others as well, like maybe the Republic of Idaho.

Here’s an interesting thing about the United States. We are 100% for a people’s right of self-determination. We preach it constantly. We lecture foreign leaders about it.

But try a bit of self-determination here, and General Sherman comes knocking at your door.

That was settled in 1861-1865, and by a SCOTUS ruling in 1869. https://www.law.cornell.edu/supremecourt/text/74/700

But who knows. Most likely if the states can militarily secede from the Union, and keep it ..... I often wonder what would happen if all the States seceded from Washington D.C.
