Coincidentally, there was an outbreak of monkeypox at gay bars.

Operated a business out of Eustis, Florida in the early 1970’s. Monkey sightings were common along the Northern edges of Lake Griffin (North Lake County), but nowhere near Clermont (in South Lake County). Monkeys were brought in for Tarzan movie production at Silver Springs in the early 1930’s, and some of them escaped into the wild. Lake Griffin is down river from Silver Springs via the Ocklawaha River. The monkey were wild, and kept their distance from humans.

Florida has too many pythons also. Do monkeys eat pythons? Or do pythons eat monkeys?
