Foreign students get aid, also. It’s cheaper for them to attend our colleges than American students. Imho, a good percentage of college students don’t even belong in college. A liberal arts degree is almost worthless today. Money better spent on a trade school. An electrician, welder, carpenter, they all and more, can make good money, start their own business and make even more. Good honest work, and we need more of them. Jeez even a glass blower making bongs can make a small fortune and live very comfortably selling them to the liberal arts students. Well it’s an idea anyway!

Sure would be nice to have a few AMERICANS enrolled in our top schools, but I know, public education is FREE here, so what’s the problem?
