I despise using the Rule of Law as a WMD.

However, Gateway Pundit is like the National Enquirer of “conservative” new media. It sucks as a trustworthy mechanism for reporting and news.

I don’t wish for them to go out of business because of frivolous lawsuits. But this ranks low on my list of Things That Bother Me.

Now, if Slay News went belly up, I MAY do a dance.

GP does post click bait at time. Or get some things wrong on a breaking news story as is common with breaking news stories with almost every news outfit. But they have been the tip of the spear exposing lots of scandals that are ignored by the Corrupt Liberal News Media.

Lawfare is a dagger against free speech abused by the left against conservatives. I remember during the cold war when a outfit called the Christics ran meritless law suits against General Singlaub who was helping the anti communist guerrilas in Nicaragua fight the Sandinistas.

They ran him ragged making him appear for depositions here and there in many different places. Their lawsuits were thrown out and when Singlaub counter sued and got damages, the Christics simply declared bankruptcy and dissolved.

Singlaub never got a penny to compensate for the tens of thousands of dollars he had to defend himself against this meritless lawsuit.
