Must be a slow news day.

I won’t hold my breath that all the people still getting worked up about Obama’s birth certificate…will be even the slightest bit concerned about the (believed-to-be) substantial number of U.S. government personnel - elected and appointed - that hold dual citizenship. Most are U.S.-Israeli citizens, and the elected ones VOTE on things like foreign aid.

The U.S. government does not require elected officials to disclose dual-citizenship, and there is no restriction that bans dual citizens from holding elected office or positions within our government.

Under the dual citizen theory, Venezuella could grant citizenship to any person who is elected President of the United States and all of a sudden that person would become ineligible.
