Probably like a nice crispy topped lasagne. But, ugh... I got fatter just thinking about this!

Looks to me like a larger spaghetti nest.

Why is everything called pasta now instead of macaroni and spaghetti? Macaroni was an economical dish when I was growing up. Did they switch the name to Pasta to make it sound classier. Hey, I’m just a carvone that still calls it macaroni.

I suppose scraping everything off a pizza, mixing that with precooked pastaa and baking it at 400 for about 15 minutes to brown the upper layer would give a similar taste experience.

I’d rather make pizza pasta salad than a pasta pizza. It seems easier to me.

There are so many kinds of pasta, linguine, ziti, lasagna, vermicelli, angel hair, cavatelli, rotini, mostaccioli, shells, ravioli. They ALL can be inexpensive. So maybe spaghetti-Os and Chef Boyardi was mostly macaroni and spaghetti, as was the school cafeteria, but where I grew up in Connecticut there were lots of choices, and pasta was the term to encompass them all, just as beef describes both hamburger and sirloin.

*** I was a little nervous going in because I am not exactly a competent cook. I mean, using the stove and the oven in one recipe? That sounds complicated.***

I know everyone has to start someplace, but geez Louise!

Can’t say that I’ll try this. It doesn’t look particularly tasty to me, though maybe it had something to do with the chef-ette.

I might try to make it, but that one pictured on the right side of the image , overdone, is not very appetizing.

But I think I’ll go make one of my flour tortilla pizzaettes for a late lunch now.

I grew up in Rhode Island, surrounded by Italians to the point I think I’m Italian. Never said pasta, just macaroni and spaghetti. They were all Sicilians so maybe that’s the difference.
