“And the source for that belief?”
“On the basis of what evidence?”

Here’s just a few of the dozens of sources.

In the weeks before the Oct. 7 Hamas attacks in Israel, young female soldiers warned their superiors that an invasion was imminent but say they were ignored. CBC’s Terence McKenna breaks down the intelligence failure and examines how the attackers were able to penetrate one of the most secure fences in the world.

What did Israel know about Hamas’ October 7 attack?

What did Israel reportedly know about the attack?
Israeli officials obtained a document describing Hamas’ battle plan for its October 7 terror attack more than a year before the militant group carried out the assault, the New York Times reported Thursday, citing documents, emails and interviews.

The roughly 40-page document did not give a date for the attack, but outlined “point by point” the kind of deadly incursion that Hamas carried out in Israeli territory in October, according to the Times, which reviewed the translated document.

Egypt warned Israel days before Hamas struck, US committee chairman says
11 October 2023
Israel was warned by Egypt of potential violence three days before Hamas’ deadly cross-border raid, a US congressional panel chairman has said.
House of Representatives Foreign Affairs Committee head Michael McCaul told reporters of the alleged warning.
Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu described the reports as “absolutely false”.
Israeli intelligence services are under scrutiny for their failure to prevent the deadliest attack by Palestinian militants in Israel’s 75-year history.

The gentleman's original allegation was exactly:

"Netanyahu was warned in advance and chose to do nothing."

None of the evidence you bring demonstrates that Bibi CHOSE to do nothing.

Rather, it appears a gargantuan mistake was made to discount the several warnings.

Until someone shows Bibi's and the government's state of mind was to purposefully allow an attack on it's own citizens, what YOU have is an allegation and conjecture supported by horrifying enough circumstances.

Not proof.

Proof, I would be happy to see.

Conjecture attributing near infinite malice and evil supported by nothing but conjecture glances into blood libel about the innate evil scheming of Jews.

So bring a real case, or stop imputing pure evil into others' hearts.

This is accurate, and horrifying enough:

“Israel Knew Hamas’s Attack Plan More Than a Year Ago

A blueprint reviewed by The Times laid out the attack in detail. Israeli officials dismissed it as aspirational and ignored specific warnings.”

The difference between bad judgement ignoring many warnings versus purposefully allowing the attacks is the key. The former happened. The latter has never been proved, to my knowledge.
